Legal to have two loaded different caliber shotguns in the blind?

Recently acquired a single shot 10 gauge shotgun and looking to see if it is legal to have both the 10 gauge and my go to 12 guage in the blind with me at the same time?  Hunting and using both.

i don't see why  it would be illegal... i know people that bring a bow and a gun with them when huting some animals... to get thier one kill with the gun then pratice with thier bow getting thier second/

Yes, it's legal.

sure, just remember if you are in an area with a shell limit that you don't exceed it.

+ i would say that it's 15 shells, 15 shells total not 15  for each.

Yes it's legal.  Max of three shells in each gun and follow any shell restrictions that may apply.  Shell restrictions are total shells allowed on a person per day and not based by gauge.  I typically bring the .10 & .12 when I go out if geese are visiting the location where I am hunting.

I used to carry a swatter gun all the time for cripples. Tight steel choke loaded with #7 steel. Since you could buy a case of #7 steel for about $35 bucks and it would last a long time it was awesome to use quick on cripples and a ton cheaper than using your hunting rounds.

I just carry a pocket of steel 6's, a lot easier than a second gun.  But they do work well for swatting.

It is legal and we have been loading one for ducks, one for geese for 25 years and have been checked by game wardens and sheriffs many times. I shoot two 12 gauges and my pal shoots a 10 and 12.

Be carefull with your loads. A 12 Ga shell will fit in front of the 10 Ga shell in the chamber. You can amagine what would happen if you lit off the 10 Ga.
