Phelps Duck Calls
« on: April 27, 2013, 06:10:01 PM »
Here are three duck calls that are ready to head out the door.  They feature Echo Kegs (open double, open single, timber double, timber single).  I can put clear or smoke in any of the barrels.  $35 shipped to your door.

Hey I recently asked about these calls and smossy mentioned your name. I'm a beginner at hunting so have no clue on what I need. Can you suggest something for a beginner?

I make my barrels shorter than most so the call doesn't have to load up as much.  Most guys prefer the open double for ease of calling.

These are all mallard calls but can be used to call in most ducks.

Bigkeeper, sounds good.  Any preference in Color?

Open Water Calls are great for longer distances when hunting on big lakes or open fields.  These calls generate a ringing hail call that will attract ducks at several hundred yards, yet they are also very ducky, and blow soft when the ducks are in close.

Timber Calls are great when hunting areas such as the green timber.  These calls are designed especially for close in calling. They are very easy to blow, and produce a sound that is irresistible to ducks

So do you make a "timber call" in the design like the one on the far left?

Yeah all I have to do is pull out the open water double keg and insert a timber reed (single or double)

The two on the right look great, I'll shoot you some money right now on paypal as I found a hot spot.

Thanks Jason, small size in the cool new hat you developed too please.
