I just loved my Ruger P-97dc.  Wish I had not sold it.  :bash:
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

I kind of regret selling my Colt 1911 Mark IV Series 70 with the wraparound Pachmayrs and BoMar target sights.  Was very sweet to shoot.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

There is a lot of opinion, cool!!!!! I guess I should have been better with the post. I'm definitely leading towards another 1911 I just love the .45 and looks. I'm open on calibers, maybe a 10mm???
I have some of the workhorses as mentioned in many posts, I'm just  looking for the next step up.  Reliable, sweet looking and powerful enough for a griz.

I am not sure I would take my 45 up against a griz.  With that info my answer would change to S&W 629 in 44 mag. would be the smallest I would want.  Also I don't think I would want a semi auto if I was shooting a griz....it would be the one time the darn thing jams... :bash: :bash: :bash:

Les Baer Custom Commanche in .45

I have become really fond of my Ruger SR40C of late.  Just a neat gun to shoot!

 :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:

I too have been super impressed with my SR40C.  Sweet shooting gun and fits great in my hands.  Since I have had it, I have putt a 200+ rounds down the barrel with NO problems.
