What is the very best semi-auto pistol you've ever owned?

I drool over this one now and then. My stepdad owns one. Kimber Eclipse Target II.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Well you asked. The best one for me is a Glock 30 double stack. Never jammed. Shoots really big bullets. It just feels so nice in the palm of my hand when it go's pop. There are a lot of real nice semi-autos. Pick yours wisely.  :twocents: It is kind of like looking for a wife.  :twocents:

Not having a lot of money, I've only personally owned two pistols. One being a huge-point and the other being a sccy. I have shot others as well, but I will say the sccy has been the best for the buck. It's compact, has 12-1 capacity single stack, and has been nothing but reliable. The magazine had a couple half feeds but they were brand new. After keeping them loaded for a couple weeks I haven't had a problem.

The one I shot best and enjoyed the most was the early Colt Delta Elite.  Love the 10mm!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Hard question to answere. To me guns are tools. each one serves a certain purpose. I have summer carry guns, winter carry, hunting side arms, target guns, hunting, home defense, and just fondling certain ones. my sig p226 elite dark 357sig just feels sexy in hand and shoots like a dream.

I've only owned two and both have worked flawlessly. S&W model 6906 9mm (sold it), and my SA .45 XD 4".

I hated mine,  heavy POS you couldn't pack around or find holsters for.   All flash and no utility.
