Fishing license question
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:55:08 PM »
Ok so I have a friend who is in question about his license. He is not sure if he wants to get his freshwater yet, just saltwater. Later, if he wants, can he pay the difference to get his combo license if he decides he wants to fish freshwater?

I know how that is. Last year I think we payed 76$ for the whole shi-bang. Minus the two pole endorsement. :yike:
Gets more and more expensive every year. Haven't picked one up this year at all, been low on funds myself.

The regulations don't cover that option but I'll bet that you have to just buy a fresh-water license and pay another $2 dealer fee for issuing it.

I don't believe so. Most of the time you only get the reduced combo price if purchased at the same time. I think he would have to buy the freshwater license at full cost  :twocents:

Nope. He will have to pay full price for the freshwater and another dealer fee too.

Exactly if they are purchased separately full price will be charged for freshwater.
