I saw one two years ago in the Winston unit at about 20 yards. You can hear them howling at night on the north side of St. Helens.

My husband and a co worker saw a black native timber wolf (not a giant Yukon type gray wolf ) by itself above Darrington 30 years ago.

Just outside of Sedro Woolley. There were 4 and they were following the herd of elk i was watching in the fog.

The deer must've been sick or injured.  8)

Biologists told the spring bear tag holders in North Skagit this year to keep their eyes open for wolves.  I have not seen them or heard them myself, but it wouldn't suprise me if they are around.

I'll be in Pullman on June 1st dropping off my daughter. I could throw a couple in the trailer if you'd like. :chuckle:

I came across big dog tracks hiking up the west fork of the white river outside of green water. Would have thought someone was walking dogs maybe but no human tracks anywhere near it, I can't be 100% sure but my suspicions are very high. Its only a short matter of time before they are over here on the west side as much as the east

Will you be dropping her off so she can have a visit with the less fortunate people? :chuckle:
