Whats the furthest south you've found moose?

I found this one down by Pateros when i was out looking for turkeys this weekend. I wasnt expecting that! I couldnt get a good pic with my phone so i held it up to my binos  :)

Furthest south I have seen them is Wyoming. Furthest south in Washington was in the Blues.

We saw a cow moose 15 years ago by Deadman Creek in Garfield County while pheasant hunting. Boy, was that a shock to see!

Last year opening of archery deer in the Blue Mountains had a bull walk into my spot. They are large animals!!

The first time I had one walk up on me, I was in colville deer hunting. It was huge and caught me off guard.

about 5-6 years ago a young bull was running around near our place north of Pasco

My cousin took pictures of a moose behind his house a few years ago.  He lives off of Old Spiral HWY in Lewiston / Clarkston area.

Pullman and south of there on the highway going to lewiston/clarkston.

Big Wally's in Coulee City used to have a picture of one on the banks of Rufus Woods Lake. There was thread about a road killed one near Teanaway on here earlier this year I believe.

there was a moose that got stuck in an irrigation ditch a few years ago in tri cities.
