If you go to Sportsmans or Sportco, ask the sales rep if you can take them outside to look through them all and see which ones you like better.  Looking through them inside the warehouse, under artificial light, doesn't do any of them justice.  Get them outside and look through in natual light.  Then you can see which ones work for you.  That was how I settled on the Vortex Vipers.  Went in assuming I would be walking out with a pair of Nikon or Leupold.  I didn't try any Steiners, so can't speak for them, but I'm happy with the Vortex.
