Seems Jefferson, Ore (just sound of Salem & east of I-5) has an "excess" turkey situation and has hired some "hitmen" to take out some toms ....   link below to CNN story.

They should take out the breeders (hens).  I also wonder how the city can do this ... in WA the state owns the birds and you'ld need the okay from the WDFW for any "control hunts ... just saying.
