Yep the biggest bull on there has the most votes :dunno:

Well it did. ;) I would rather see the kid win now.

I don't have Facebook but this is why I hunt elk...

Elk hunting for me is a family event shared by generations of family members. This photo was taken in 1985 I was four years old in this photo. I am standing with my uncle next to a bull my dad harvested. My uncle died a few short after this picture was taken.

Lately it mostly means Stressing out about fire danger closures, frustration with tree farm access restrictions, and worrying about hunter displacemnt into areas formerly pretty productive... :yike:  :dunno: I am on this site way to much  :chuckle:  :chuckle: BTW Great pics All!!!

Put mine in for fun but doesn't hold a candle to the others. Especially the one from Jason and slim!! Awesome bulls guys!!

It sure does!!! It shows the hard work that goes into a elk hunt, it also catches you in the moment. It's not staged like the others, you got my vote.

I think we all have pictures of the "hard work" and struggles. I just got lucky that my partner cared enough to take random pictures this year even if they were only with an iPhone. Here are our images of "hard work," even if they didn't quite make the 'cut.' I hope they are 'real' enough for you.
