We have a special flag that will be flying at 1/2 mast on Saturday.  This flag was stowed on a successful mission in the same region Aaron was in.  We only fly this flag on special days like Veterans, Memorial, Patriot Day, etc.   It will be flying in honor of Captain Aaron Blanchard on Saturday.  God bless and God speed.  Your family is in our thought and hearts.

After my post, I went to the roof to pay my respects ... but I found the State Street flag at full staff versus half staff in honor of our fallen heroes like Aaron.
 :yike:
I immediately reported this to the Shipyard Commanders Office ... situation was resolved in minutes.

If federal or state government or military, please take a quick look and ensure that no others have made this mistake.
