From Buckcanyonlodge
After consideration on which auction to provide, I think the bow hunt is what we are going with. My intention with the weekend get-a-way for the Blanchard family was to donate the stay and to donate any funds raised through the auction. Looks like it may be very hard for JL to keep track of all who would donate. If BLRMAN wants to PM me I think  Wendy and I can still do something for a stay for the family N/C.         So here is my auction donation:

Semi-Guided Archery Hunt for two. Arrive afternoon Sept 6th and check out morning Sept. 9th. Here is what you get: Lodging, Meals, Access to private land, Scouting prior to your arrival, stand and blind placement, then you hunt on your own. I will spend the first day  showing you where I have seen the game. You can hunt mule deer, whitetail deer, bear, and I have seen a couple elk on one of my leases. Value w/tax is $800

Gonna start the bidding on this at 5pm today and run it till Tuesday 5/7/13 at 5:00pm. The forum clock rules on these so when the clock says 5:00pm next tuesday, it's all over. I'm going to run it for an extended period so questions can be answered, minds can be made up, etc.
Payment by the winner will be made to Boneaddict via his paypal at massivemuleys@aol.com or you can pm him for a mailing address.

Good luck, happy bidding, and I wish I had some extra cash laying around because this place looks like a heck of a lot of fun for a bowhunt.

Can this be used next year or is it only good for 2013?  I already put in for permits, so I cant change my tag.

I sent buckcanyonlodge a pm so he should post an answer to your question at some point in the near future.
That's a good question...

Can a rifle tag hunter bid and just go to hunt bears, eat great food, and hang out?

You bet.  Here is a pic of a bear I call Pork Chop. He lives on one of the leases. One of these days he'll make a mistake and end up at the Taxi. Lots of grouse and maybe even get in a little walleye fishing.....

If there is an archery hunter out there who wants to go halves, send me a PM. I have a rifle tag and will take in all other activities but deer and elk hunting. I will be out halibut/lingcod/shrimp fishing from noon tomorrow until Monday so I may not get back to you until Monday evening.
