Two bows and a heap of metal and cables...sheesh.
I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. I don't know how the Hoyt guys tie on their rest cord or replace their strings.  But around here we try to do things the easy way.  And maybe the Hoyt guys wouldn't have to buy a new bow every other year if they did a clean and tune once in a while.

Although I guess if you never get out of the truck you don't need to clean or replace strings until you get the next bow :chuckle:

Some guys eventually realize performance and shootability is cooler than a $1,000 logo!  :chuckle:

I liked my Hoyt alot but just want to spend a whole paycheck for one.  I really like how my Destoyer shoots.  I have shot last years Carbon Matrix and Spyder 34 also shot the new Bowtech Experience.  Out of those 3 I really liked how the Experience felt and shot.  I couldn't pass up the deal I got n this Destroyer I got and it shoots really smooth and fast.  I said the only two bows I would own would either be a Bowtech or Hoyt.

I've never paid $1000 for any of my hoyts.  Most guys pay $1000 but I'm special.    I like them for their kill ability.

Any bow can kill in the right hands of someone that know how to use it.  I have seen plenty of kills with tons of different brands of bows.  Having Hoyt on your bow doesn't automatically make you a better hunter.  You pratice with your bow all the time to hone your skills.  It is your skills with a bow that gives you that kill ability.  I bet if we gave you a different brand of bow, you may not like it but I bet you will kills something just the same as you did with your Hoyt.
