I think it should be wide open, state wide, all predators, but shorter. Like the first 30% of each species' season should be open to dogs, then the last 70% of the season still open, but closed to dogs. (Coyotes to coincide with the other longest opening, as they're open year round.) As has been mentioned, regulate the harvest with tag numbers (permit or OTC,) not across the board closures.
for bears, have a season that is permit only and quota. but for lions, keep in in eastern washington just as it is now, but have a season for it in western washington like it once was. i like eastern washington how it is, it keeps real good numbers up there. but have a full out seasn like novmeber through march in western washington for bobcats and lions.and legalize havin a coon in a cage for training, guess if you get caught its a pricey fine
