Dandy bear! Congrats.

Is that a A7 tecomate by chance? Fine choice in both rifle and caliber  :IBCOOL:

Sure is.  Its now the bears of tecomate edition  :chuckle:  really love that gun.

They are a sweet gun! Then again I love anything sako lol.

What bullet you shooting? I run the 140g accubond in mine.

Same bullet. 140 grain accubond. Really did a number to this bears insides. Don't think I'll shoot any different bullets after that.

They are amazing I have taken 30+ big game animals with accubonds and they have never let me down. If I remember right 9 of them have been with my A7 and the 140g accubond. I run them in a lot of my guns. They shoot great and they sure dump a lot of energy into the animals. The only thing is they do tend to blood shot a lot of meat if you hit really solid stuff like a shoulder.

Oh yeah that's for sure. Lost most of both shoulders on the bear. But he didn't run away. Good with me.

Huge bear and beautiful coat! Can't wait til August. You're a lot braver than I am, bear hunting and posing beside a dead bear with a black shirt on. I wear camo but as soon as the animal is down I pull out the blaze orange hat and flags. Don't mean to preach but it's not fun getting shot at and you've got a long life ahead of you. Let us know the size of the head on that beast as I'd say he makes book. Congratulations!

I know what your saying. Thanks for looking out. I always try to never wear black when bear hunting but I had just came from work and it was all I had. I'll be sure to let everyone know the size.
