Turkeys in 568 or 574
« on: May 08, 2013, 02:30:01 PM »
I recently returned from a turkey hunting trip in klickitat. Had birds gobbling early morning but no Toms would commit. After 10am the birds were quiet until just right before dark. This was my first turkey hunting trip and it is so much like elk hunting. I'm addicted for sure..

My question for you turkey guys: I see PMU35 consists of several GMU'S including 568 and 574. Before the spring season closes i would like to get Out again but closer to home. Can any one give me an idea where in 568 or 574 I might find birds? I've hunted and taken big game all over 568 and never seen or heard turkeys. I've also huntef Elk in 574 but not seen birds.Any help would be great!!! Feel free to PM...

Thanks in advance

Mark
