From Smokepole and Skagit Broomworks:

Today I made a special diamond willow porch broom for the Aaron Blanchard Family Auction.  I think it is the nicest broom I have ever made.  I just love diamond willow.  The broom is drying right now, and will be shipped from our shop to the winner's mailing address.  We will pay for shipping.

This is a nice full broom, great for the porch or floor.  It will look awesome hanging in someone's cabin or at the lodge.  Goes good with your taxidermy collection, too!  It is 60" long overall, and the sweep is 14" wide.  The broom is woven tightly on a choice piece of diamond willow treated with natural beeswax wood finish.  If I was to post the broom on my Etsy it would bring $150, so bid generously for this one of a kind functional art.

Happy bidding, and may God bless Aaron's family until they meet again.

http://www.skagitbroomworks.com/

Bidding will start at 11am today 5/9/13 and run till Sunday 5/12/13 11am. The winner of the auction will get funds to Boneaddict via paypal at massivemuleys@aol.com or you can pm him for a mailing address if you want to send a check.

Once the auction is over and funds are confirmed, Smokepole will ship the broom to the winner.

Thanks to everyone and happy bidding.

I'd bid on it but my wife would use it to fly away. What a beautiful broom.

Thank you sir.

After I showed her Smokepole's website, I think she's going to purchase a whisk broom and a cob web getter.

Backup transportation for the little jobs.   :chuckle:

Jackelope, that is the wrong photo.  Please accept my appologies, everyone.  I made a special custom diamond willow broom for Aaron.  Here are the pictures of the broom I made for the auction...

The handle is a little heavier and the sweep is medium to heavy - great for the porch or the floor.  Below is my description of the broom:..

I'm willing to add an Elk Tine Hearth Broom if the bid makes it to $250  I have one with a nice heavy tine from Yellowstone Antlers.  Will look beautiful next to the fireplace.

All proceeds go to Aaron's family & the brooms will be shipped asap directly to your door.  Print these pictures and give as a mother's day gift.

Let's make this happen!  :hello: :hello: :hello:
