Value of Bushnell cams?
«
on:

A friend of mine wants to buy my Bushnell Trophy cams. I have 2 of the 119405's (2GB) I bought in 2009 and 3 of the 119425C's (4GB) I bought in 2010. All work well. So, very simply, what do you think a fair price is for each model?

Probably about $75 is what I would guess. You can check eBay and see what used ones are going for.

If he changes his mind let me know I will buy some from you. I love those cams.

Having had the same cams for a few years, I would be hard pressed to pay more than $50 each for older/used ones.

Thanks Gentlemen. I decided to only sell the two older ones. EBay only only showed a non working one and I couldn't find any others for sale. He's a friend that I know will appreciate them. I wish I didn''t need to, but times are tough right now. Good luck to you all!

I haven't had good luck with mine..not taking pics consistently in cold weather of deer or elk..always takes my pic in and out . Most people don't test their cams to see if they actual work they see they had a random variety of dates and times and think all is well..I was one of these people till I watched first hand 2 different brands of cams fail in person. 1 was a bear on a bait that ate for 45 min 5 ft from my cam and it took 2 pics!! the other was some deer while on the stand..I checked it and I had 2 pics of the deer that were there or around cam for for 20 min!! You might be surprised what your cams are missing and I have 4 different brand of cams right now that miss a ton of pics in cold weather and alot of times will not take pics at all of deer, but the funny thing with all the brands they always work on humans always..odd. I even set 3 different brands of cams on the same tree at the same angle and all 3 cams had different pics and some varied 200 pics from another in a week!

I've noticed the same in cold weather. I think that deer are more insulated than we are. We put off more body heat. That's what I figure
