It was pretty pathetic season from what everyone had said.  Lots of water time, with minimal fish for the effort.
Cut em!

Hey they are letting the gill netters back in the lower Columbia today so how can the run be that bad if the commies get 1200 more fish! :bash: :bash: :bash:

todays news in the ID fishery was more bad..95% of the run has gone over Bonneville..0 PIT tagged fish over Bonny in 3 days..which historically means they are almost all in. On a good note the first ever summer run chinooks are coming over Bonny for the SF clearwater..numbers are looking good and should get all their broodstock this year..will be a first

Talked to the fish counter Monday at Goose, Said they over estimated the run by 40k. Figured the season would be closed now. had a 335 fish quota for the Goose pool.

Lame on the op as well. Got a bunch in the river then the water dropped. The tribe massacred them with the nets while they were all stacked up in the lower river. 4 drifts down the sol duc and only one springer to show for it.

It is so ridiculous anymore ...Just like up here on the Skagit ... I heard rumor that one tribal member caught over 500 lbs of spring kings already  :bash: :bash: :bash: not counting native steelhead that are being caught too !!! Just do not know when the people will ever put an end to this madness ...when we can not catch one to put in the freezer ....I may just freak out by the time I get to old to do anything about it  >:( :yeah:
