you might want to check and make sure it's legal where you want to use it. I'm thinking some places you have to hand place the bait. IE no sling shots or launchers.

To be honest that wouldn't be a bad law to have in place. Imagine how dangerous it would be with a bunch of bankies slinging lead like that into the water, both for boats and for other bankies who might get whacked when one of these homemade contraptions malfunctions.

For the sake of the thread I would not suggest that someone uses a spud gun for launching gear.

Dont worry I dont plan on shooting bait with a spud gun. I do plan on testing my slingshot a bunch of times with different weights to see. Its going  to be a few  weeks til I start buliding it.

Here you go.....much more realistic. They have a pretty sweet set up...probably could get the job done with something a little more simple.

It's illegal at the bonneville.  Check the regs no sligshot or floating devices you must hand cast.
