What is he looking for?  I live just west of you and have some traps I would be willing to get rid of.

I was going to take a bunch of traps to the NTA Western in Blackfoot next month and try and sell them but if you are interested I would sell them early.

If he's going to be trapping wolves in ID, tell him to make sure he goes to the wolf trapping class.  I know a lot of people practice the 3 S's when it comes to wolves, but if he's caught trapping without the correct class, he could be in for a world of hurt.  Hope he gets his 5!

lol, ya he is getting all that stuff set up. He is a very good outdoorsmen and follows the laws. That is one of the first things he will be doing, both the trapping and wolf classes. Also message me how many and what you want for the traps. Thanks all

Tell him Jeff Ashmead and Lonnie Austin teach the wolf trapping class. Jeff is a retired government trapper has his own website. Tell your buddy to go to www.wolfsnaring.com, Jeff has all kinds of snares for sale. I took the class in march, he will learn a lot. I'm jealous if it wasn't for work I would be back there in heartbeat. What part of Idaho is he moving to. Hard to make a living but great place to live.  :twocents:

Some good white tail country. Use to be good hound hunting country for bear and cougar, just east of Deary from Bovill to Dworshak lake. Deary is a little farming community does he have family there? Enjoy :chuckle:
