Need bowhunting partner
« on: July 31, 2013, 12:13:35 PM »
New to bowhunting, but not the outdoors (Backpacker). Always in good shape from hiking, mountain biking etc. I have had good times sneaking up on many critters to see how close I could get. It only recently occurred to me how good they would taste   Am fully equipped now and ready to go, except for my camo, looking. Middle aged and kids raised, I'm ready to go. Live in Auburn WA

Sounds like we have some things in common. My girlfriend and I like to backpack, I hunt hunt archery for  past 5 years. Not sure what you are looking for I am hunting the 340 unit the first week of September for elk. Also I am hunting the 251 unit in November for deer. both areas are general areas no special permits needed. If this sounds good PM me and maybe we could hook up and shoot at a range I live in Lake Stevens.

Welcome to the addiction. This will be my 4th season bowhunting deer and 2nd season for Elk. I live in Tacoma so we are in the same area. My family hunts deer on private property but I am always up for a new place to hunt. I am 42, single, have 2 kids and work a 9-5 M-F job. Pretty normal with an addiction for the outdoors. I will be shooting the Wire Shoot and the Bad to the Bone this weekend. Maybe I'll see ya at one. Happy Hunting
