117 WT antlerless
« on: October 09, 2008, 06:46:24 PM »
I drew a doe tag for the 117 unit this year for rifle, I'm a bow hunter but wanted to hunt with my son this year.  I'm also a meat hunter so a nice plump doe for my son and I would make us both happy.  I was over in the Chewelah area this week for work and didn't see any deer in the fields.  You guys that live over there, did the winter get a lot of them last year?  Looks like it may be tougher than I thought to find a doe or two.

I was over there this spring for the Turkey Season.... I saw a ton of plump does. It shouldn't be that hard to find one.

I have property in the 121, and spend a fair amount in the 117.  There are a lot of does to be had.  Should not be too hard.  Most times, I can kill them with a rock!  They are around.  Put some time in and it should be no problem.
