Good antler growth????
« on: May 17, 2013, 10:51:14 PM »
Well I finally got some pictures of the bucks that we have been trying to find.  Two of them seem to have excellent growth already however I don't have much to compare them to.  Is this good growth for this time of year on a blacktail?

I looked back at some of my may 15th pics from last year. Yours seem to be growing better than mine. At least the bucks I could find. I have more pics on other computer.   Looks like a good area Pigfuzz. Is that same area as the Big boy?

Same unit but about 3 miles further east.  Ive got pics of lots of good bucks and put in lots of time but still have not mad connection between a buck and my arrow.  Ive got 4 elk and 2 deer but neither of the der were bucks.  I guess that's what happens when you cant afford to eat your tag.

Nicknamed the first one Dumb*$$ because we were talking and making tons of noise then came around the corner and he just kept on licking the block less than ten yards away. There is no way that he couldn't hear us. :IBCOOL:

If they don't show some "wow factor" in late May.....they won't show it come fall.  You can tell which bucks show real promise already...   :twocents:
