My sister moved back there in July, so I was going to visit. We hit DC, Arlington, Pentagon, NYC...all in three days. I filled up almost 10GB of card space since I wasn't doing anything with them til I got back here. Of course we skimmed most of it, but I am exhausted from all the walking. I can say I survived the Harlem Subway station though.  :chuckle:

Just a suggestion, you might be better off getting a few 1 or 2 gig cards and using those rather than one 10 gig. If something were to happen to that card you would be S.O.L where as something happens to one of the others at least you didnt lose ALLyour picks :twocents:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Guess I should have been more clear in my post. I had three 2 gig cards and one 4 gig card. I definitely hear ya on not keeping all the pics on one card. It would suck if I lost them all.

PS7 won't open the newer raw images.  Use the Nikon program to convert them to DNG, TIFF, or JPG and then work on them in PS7.  I know it's a pain in the @ss, but that is how Adobe forces you to upgrade when you don't have to.

Alright, thanks. I will have to search for my camera box that I hope still has the software in it.

Yes.  For Canon it's DPP or Digital Photo Pro that comes with the camera.  I'm not sure with Nikon...  Adobe Lightroom also does it, but that program is a little expensive.

You mean DPP can do the batch job? Thanks.

Yeah, DPP can batch process them.  However, I just do the ones I want to display or keep individually.  If you are just going to batch process them all to another format without making changes you might as well just shoot jpg...
