DelBene for Congress

Jm -

8 out of 10 Americans support universal background checks on all gun purchases. Despite this, the Senate placed politics in front of public opinion, and failed to act.

Parents and families across the nation were deeply disappointed at the Senate’s failure to pass any reasonable reform.  That is why Suzan and some of her colleagues in the House of Representatives banded together to make sure legislation on this issue didn't just disappear.

Most agree, no matter what side of the aisle they vote for, that violent criminals should not possess firearms.  They also overwhelmingly agree that we must do something to prevent this from happening as often as it does today.

That is why Suzan co-sponsored legislation in Congress that would expand background checks to cover sales of firearms over the Internet and at gun shows.

It is because of Suzan’s common sense approach to governing and her willingness to take a stand on tough issues that we voted for her in the first place.  And why we must continue to stand by her today.

Please consider a gift of $10, $20 or $50 to support Suzan's re-election campaign now.

Because of Suzan’s bold leadership on key issues we know she will be targeted in her first re-election campaign.

Every day, new rumors circulate about who is being recruited to run against her- and those rumors won't end unless we continue to show that Suzan has the broad support required to hold this seat.

For that, Suzan needs you to step forward and support her re-election campaign today.
Please consider a gift today to support our campaign.

Thank you again,

Stephanie Ervin
 Political Director

I sent an email to her earlier this year...  What is in your return letter falls a bit short of what she was also proposing. She also was gathering support for private in-state sales to go through checks and registration.

I like her views on a lot of things, but she's lost my vote next term.

This came into my private email. I just thought others should know about her position. I then removed my self from the list and sent Ms. Delbene an email back: I will not VOTE for Ms. DelBene.

I wrote to her and told her that before she tries to represent us in Congress, she might want to check the percentages on polls from valid polling companies instead of from the President's hand-picked list of gun haters. I also pointed out to her that since the federal government doesn't go after 75% of the felons who show up on existing background checks, a broader check will do nothing to make anyone safer. I also sent a similar email to our friend Piers Morgan after he had Boob Costas on the show the other day.

Polls are nothing but statistical manipulations to support specific agendas unless they are done in a statistically valid and unbiased manner.  If the sample population is not a representative sample of all affected Americans, then the poll is worthless.  Since the ant-gun zealots want to create the impression that the majority of Americans want Universal background checks, the sample population might be selected from New York City, Seattle, and Newtown.  The sample size might only be 400 to 500 people which, of course, will in no way represent all of US population.  If the sample population was from eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana, the poll results might show 99.9% are against the proposed legislation.  It's all just more BS under the current administration's umbrella of lies, cover-ups, scandals, propaganda, and manipulation of information.

No surprise. Of course she is anti gun. Her liberal views were obviously evident.

Most Democraps are anti-gun, I have a had time believing anything that comes out of a mouth of a liberal, gun grabbing POS democrap. She voted for the UN to take our guns away. I wouldn't give that POS the time of day.

I am not defending her and believe her position is wrong but when did she vote for the UN to take our guns. The House of Reps doesn't vote on Treaties per the Constitution.

Notice how the letter starts with a twisted and very general statistic.

I took a look at Ms. Delbene's website. Her website has nothing (in issue section) about her anti-gun views. Ms. Delbene is defiantly hiding from the gun-nuts  :chuckle:

I found this statement she released on Memorial Day:

"On this Memorial Day, let's honor all the brave men & women who've served & remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation." from Ms. Delbene website 5/27/13

She is a hypocrite, wants all the protection from our men and women. However, she would love nothing better than to disarm law abiding gun owners. I do commend her for supporting our men and women in uniform.

Get the word out vote pro-gun!

I'm still trying to figure out how people order all these guns online without having them sent to an FFL that does a background check before transfer. It sure would make my life a little simpler and save a couple bucks if this stuff was delivered to my house.
