I would absolutely be interested. $300 seems a little steep but I suppose for a seal and otter skin hand made hat it would be worth it. I have always been interested in a seal skin hat, even asked a fur shop in Montana last year if he knew of a way to get me one. I've looked online as well and just couldn't seem to find what I was looking for.
if i get a chance ill snap some pics of some with prices and contact you from alaska this summer, and if theres one you want ill make it happen

That would be awesome I appreciate it

Sirmissalot,
I agree 300 bucks seems steep but they are awesome and as far as I know that is the going price. At least 275-300 is the price in my area. I like the darker seal because it is camo but the light colored seal like Smossy posted would be good snow camo. If you decide to buy one you will not be disappointed.

Deaner, where are you workin in western Alaska and what will you be doing? Just curious because I work up there also.

oh i work on tugboats.  i tend to go out west on long trips in the summer, work all summer long so that when hunting season rolls around i get a big chunk of time off.  ill probably be leaving later this month.  we hit all kinds of western alaska ports.  ive been as far north as kotzebue and as far west as attu.  pretty much all over alaska

Time to euthanize a few of them.  Some specialty cured herring may work.

Hey, that is a good idea! WD-40 or antifreeze on some herring

Not Funny!

You'd be better off getting caught with a ten year old girl than kill a sealion :bdid:
