That would be worth charging the price for admission to see that!!

This is a pretty common practice for guys fishing below Bonneville on the Oregon Side. They are winging like 24 oz out there a long ways. Some guys even build hitch mount ones.

I have heard about this....never seen it in person. I've seen pics of guys that will prop 2x4 in the bed of their truck like goal posts then use surgical tubing and a pouch for the launcher. The weight is a rock off the back on 10 lb test line so the can snag it up....fish...and break it off if need be.

you might want to check and make sure it's legal where you want to use it. I'm thinking some places you have to hand place the bait. IE no sling shots or launchers.

Is the taste of the bait worth the sting of the hook twice?

If you use a high velocity launcher you might want to partially freeze your bait so it hold in one piece. It will thaw in a few minutes under water.

Radio controlled boat to take it out as far as you want. When it gets there just flip your bail and pull it off the boat. You might even make some friends that want their bait out there too. Certainly less dangerous than a sling shot.

True but I want a big Slingshot. Who knows i might need it for something other then fishing, you never know when you might need a slingshot that will shoot 6 oz 200 yards lol.

Sure I get it and have done it. Water balloons are good to fire at boaters that get too close.
