Maybe he didn't have the money. It cost me $130 to put in for deer and antelope.
No, money isn't the issue.
Going to Montana this year.  Not going to Oregon this year.  Next year to Oregon, unless I choose to go to WY instead then it would be 2015 for Oregon.
Haha, i'm on the same circut. WY 2013, AK 2014, and OR 2015. Did montana in '11 can't wait to go back.
:chuckle:
I did MT last year too.
There's a last years 7x8 MT bull that has my name and cross hairs all over him come this fall.  Otherwise, I'd be in WY this year.

Go get him! A few buddys moved to wyoming two years ago. Iv'e seen enough bulls, and bucks (speedgoat and muley) to be convinced to pay them a visit.

I'm not anticipating it out for a couple days yet.

Good luck on your antelope draw. Unfortunately due to current seasons and my job I'll never be able to hunt any of the better units. Good news is we have ground in the Columbia Plateau unit with goats, but nothing great. Out of state it is...

Oregon results should be out after WA (if last year is any indication for this year's results).  If I didn't just put-in for points this year, I'd start checking OR draw results a couple days after ours are posted. :twocents:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Ya, I keep checking, still no answer. Years past, Oregon was up days before WA, it was comforting to know I had a tag in hand going into the WA results.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I think a lot of it is guys coming in from points only when they finally get enough points to draw. I have 16 antelope points and went points only this year and will likely "cash in" next year.

For me, Its nice to know I have a tag drawn, so I dont need to get a land owner tag. We keep our land owner tags on the back burner, then if family members fail to draw, there is a landowner tag available. But....the suspense is awful! Draw already!!

The lady drew her deer for Heppner but no elk. We'll be spike hunting I suppose.
