So not to hijack, but why does it take so long? I realize some things have to be double checked but everything is electronic so should it be click a button and a couple minutes later it spits out results? Or am I over simplifying this?

The draw is not done by wdfw but by I believe "outdoor central" I don't really consider 3 weeks all that long considering how many hunt options there are :twocents:

Takes several hundred employees getting several hundred hours of overtime for 3 weeks to ensure a perfect draw

It would be nice if it was more instantanious like the lottery, but that is a good point there are a lot more choices to deal with. I wish they were a little less perfect if it meant seeing "selected" more often  :chuckle:

But for now I will find other ways to distract my self

All I ever see is "NOT SELECTED".  I'm more excited to see the Nevada results on Friday.

it take this long because the game dept. has to input all of the "bonus" points for those they want to be drawn
