Yardage judging is most important followed by accuracy imo. I really don't think your gonna be able to be pinpoint accurate with a 20 and 40 pin. Just get used to shooting the small gaps or get a slider site like an hha or get a dovetail extention for your site. My bow is shootin x-ringer hv's at 326, its fast which helps in yardage errors but I can also shoot it accurately.

I agree w/Button on the sight pins. Some sights do not allow for their pins to get too close because of design. Others will allow pins to be almost touching. You might want to look at a better sight with a design that allows close pins for todays fast shooting bows.

I am running a 5 pin hogg it.it adjusts down as tight as ive needed it so far.i really like this sight.i am getting used to shooting tighter pin gaps.just didnt like it much at first

Better to gap a 30 pin for 20 than to try and gap a 20 pin for 30.
