The best part if your kid has a wild id, you can put them in for moose, big horn and sheep before they go through hunters Ed. No license required to put in for those special tags. To get a wild ID go get them a free fishing license. My 6 year old daughter has 6 points for each of the above mentioned.
That is awesome! Going to get our daughter hers so she can start building points! At 3 yrs old she should have some awesome hunts come about 10-12yrs old. 
Well, got to say good luck with that. The only permit apps that do not require a license/tag purchase are moose/sheep/goat. Odds are very long (as I'm sure you are aware) even with max points. But a few extra points is always better than none.
