Copalis heating up
« on: May 27, 2013, 06:57:22 PM »
After missing the last 2 weeks from being sent out of town for work I finally made it back out to the copalis unit.  I've talked to a few people who have seen a bear but didn't get a shot off.  After weeks of frustration I think the the area is heating up nicely.  I went out late morning in the rain and found lots of fresh signs including a new pile of poo on the road I had just walked on an hour before but still no bear sighting.  Hopefully I can fill my tag soon.  Thanks for everyone's help

I found a great spur not far from where I found all those signs and started calling but 15 mins into calling it started pouring rain and the wind picked up a lot with it.
