Nice BooBoo.... cool coloring.

Now, how about the story????
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

story goes ive been up about every other week since jan 1. once the season opened i made it up at least 2, maybe 3 days a week. i got into sign pretty early on and saw first bear back on may 8. it was in the reprod and just peeked out for a second, i sat trying to wait him out as i could hear the ripping of stumps but i ran out of light. next morning, same spot. same sound, ripping of stumps, but never ever showed. that evening, we could hear a bear coming our way, down an grassy spur then down a small finger off of it. we could hear the bear getting close and it was just about to clear the trees when i felt the breeze touch the back of my neck for just a second, and off he went. this trend continued another couple weeks, started seeing peels and other sign but not seeing fur.
so i got frustrated and went back into scouting mode, covering lots of ground, different areas id been into before, GE, etc. trying to find an area that held sign AND i felt like i could hunt. last saturday i found a spot i really liked and hung a cam there. it was a trip to get there so i could not check it after work. yesterday i was heading in to check it and i had 103 pictures. i make it to about 20 and i catch movement out the corner of my eye. im on a knee and i set the camera down and picked up my rifle. right then a bear steps out from behind a small fir, takes a step and stops broadside. shouldered, safety, bang. she spun a 180 and dropped. one little twitch and then some steam from the double lung damage from the 180gr accubond. range it, 38yd. now, feel blood running down my nose,  :bash: i dab with my bandana for a bit but its clearly not helping so i get into my kit and fashion a butterfly from some athletic tape and apply it using my compass mirror.
now the work. about 3hr to break her down, everything into the pack. grab pack,  :bash: cant get it off the ground.
try to sit down and put shoulders into it and stand up, nope!
lay on my side and try to roll to all fours, nope...
drag pack to small down hill slope, lay on top of pack, shoulder straps, waist, chesty, roll side to side until i have enough momentum to tip down hill onto all fours and grab nearby tree to drag myself up. here we go.
3 hours later i can see the truck.
