Nothing on opening morning
« on: October 11, 2008, 08:15:58 PM »
We hunted hard all morning above Walla Walla but only saw 15...yes 15 bull elk and a handfull of does no bucks at all!  Some of the bulls in the two groups we saw were absolute bruisers! We'll be back at it tomorrow.

That's alright, we put 25 miles on our boots and saw a field mouse the whole day ;)

Good luck with your hunt.

Well I went out today for the morning, to check out a new spot. We saw 3 legal bucks and a 2 point. I was going to shoot one that was about a 22 inch 3 point but he and his buddys didn't want to move over to the public land. Oh well maybe next time. We also saw 3 coyotes and a TON of phesants. I think I'm going to like this new spot. :IBCOOL:

Wow... We've went twice now and not seen a single deer.  Nobody we've ran into has seen anything.  Hunting on Lewis is sucking so far...
