Opening Day Deer
« on: October 11, 2008, 10:32:11 PM »

Brothers 3x this morning

Nephews first buck a 4x3 fifteen minutes later

Oh and in response to the let em grow post . . . . I think its very situational, could be like some folks said a first buck situation or someone who can't get out in the woods as often as we all like to do or someone who cant get around or whatever. . . I think we all can decide for ourselves within the law if we want to shoot a small 2x3 or pass it up for next year if it survives the winter and the rest of the season. I'd like to see more 3x and 4x deer alike and but I dont think they should make it a law on strictly 4x mulies. I would be hard pressed to pass on a massive 3x .... 3 point minimum is a great rule gives young bucks a tremendous chance to hit 4 years old hopefully by then they are smart enough to avoid the casual hunters

family hunts are awesome.  :IBCOOL:
