How many arrows do you carry on a hunt?
« on: May 28, 2013, 05:21:54 PM »
I'm looking into maybe purchasing a new quiver, Thinking I want a 2 piece.
What do you guys hunt with one or two piece, and how many arrows?
I've seen a-lot of 4 arrow quivers and a-lot of 6.

1 piece, 5 arrow. If I need more than that its time to go back to the drawing board.

One piece for easy removal if needed and usually a 3 arrow but on long outings I'll throw on the 5 and carry 4 BH and one Judo.

Not sure that I want a one piece, Had one previously and always ran into problems with vibration.
Plus Im not sure I really want to be removing my quiver.

Just my :twocents: but i prefer a 1 piece quiver so that I can remove it while I'm on stand.  Though I shoot fine with it on the bow, I shoot better and can hold at draw longer with it off.  I hunted with a 4 arrow one for a while before I bought my current Fuse quiver which holds 5 nice and tight to the riser.

Two piece will support the arrows better to prevent arrow vibration but the quiver itself you can end up with vibration in both. Just check mounting bolts and any screws on the quiver too make sure they're tight. Can even use a locktite type product on the screws to help prevent loosening. I use the G5 stuff.

Mathews two piece  and 5 arrows.
