Livestock Attack Graphic Pictures!
« on: May 28, 2013, 07:17:55 PM »
Coyotes 1, shooter 2!

Pepper didn't have a chance in hell against a breeding pair of coyotes! :bash:  He was bottle feed from birth because his nanny was a first time mom who left him.

The female went down first, she was lactating. Then the remaining two goats had to be found after being attacked but living, all safe and secure in barn.  After a short wait he came back to the scene of the crime, then he went down!

Last year it was a cougar stealing babies from the barn never could catch it. :bash: Eventually it moved on to who knows where.

The first picture is Pepper, and female coyote.

The second is intestines, and male coyote.

The third is male coyote.

Did some minor den searching and found nothing, pups probably sleeping on full stomachs. They will start yipping when they get hungry, and if within earshot I will hear them.  :mgun:

Didn't start having problems with any predators until last year. :dunno:

Talked with a warden yesterday and in the last week he has dealt with a cougar killing goats (owner shot it ) , cougar killing domestic turkeys, and a bear killing a lamb. Way too many predators up here in Stevens County!!
Thanks for all for your past support...We officially pulled the plug and have retired from the Biz. Still dabble a little in real estate.
