That Irish setter is a beauty! Can it hunt?

...and can it match a Red Setter in ability?

can a red setter match an EP in ability? These days an Irish and red setters are as separate a breed as German shorthairs and german wire hairs. hard to compare really.
I would love to see more Irish setters from good hunting or trial lines in the field, they are one of my favorite breeds.

No breed can match an EP in ability to run over the horizon into the next county. These days an Irish and red setters are as separate a breed as German shorthairs and german wire hairs. hard to compare really.
