My Girlfriends Opener Buck
« on: October 12, 2008, 12:24:00 PM »
Well opening day turned out very succesfull for our group.  We had four bucks down before 9am.  Saw lots of deer and my girlfriend did awesome.  Took this little 2x3 at 7:15.  She shot him at just uner 300 yards and we were back at the truck before 3:00

Hey Timberstalker, if you've got time to be sitting around playing on the computer, then you've got time to take a ride with me up to that place we were talking about. Give me a call. Scott

Strongly encourage you to get this photo over to Andy Walgamott at Northwest Sportsman magazine,...the new publication...ASAP

He's a member of this forum under the handle "Northwest Sportsman"  (wow, what an original handle  :P)

Even more strongly encourage you to keep her away from the rest of this bunch  :chuckle:  She's a keeper! Nicely done.

Walgamott will want/need details:
Girlfriend's name
What town does she live in?
Where/GMU
When
Rifle
Model
Caliber
Scope

That's a great photo. In my days as WA editor of F&H News (about a hundred years ago!) I would be tempted to kill for photos like that. Good composition, nice smile, good background, color real sharp...pretty much all of the necessary elements

Awsome pics, glad to see the women getting in on the action. Get her on here to give us her story, the site could use more women and if a few more start posting maybe others would not be so apprehensive.

Slip a ring on that woman!  Wait...did she gut the buck?  Just kidding, it's great that you have a girlfriend that wants to get out with you and your crew.  I had a GF like that once... :'(

My 10 year old daughter is going to be a catch thats for sure, unless its some doctor or lawyer that puts a ring on her finger. :chuckle: Oops, I forgot about Pope, sorry Shawn, it was just a "generalization".
