any travel trailer furnace experts around?

mid 90's atwood hydroflame 8525 - III furnace, lights occasionally, and isnt consistent running. Ive pulled the burner and electrodes out, everything looks new, they put a new board on it last year. It turns on, fan runs, you can hear the thing sparking away in there for 3 cycles, then shuts down and flashes the 3 lights on the board.

Im kind of stumped, everything else in the trailer works great, thoughts?

I assume your gas is on.  If there's a spark your gas valve is not opening.  May be bad gas valve, or the board is not sending the signal to gas valve for it to open.

if I hook 12v up to the gas valves can I hear them click to test them?

how far off the burner should the ignitor and the other probes be?

Yes.  You should be able to open cover and visually see it?  As for distance not exactly sure, but if it worked before that is probably not the problem.  Also clean probes of gently with light sand paper.

I changed my board in my Suburban furnace to a Dino board. The connector hooks up pretty good but not perfect. Mine does the same thing and I just have to wiggle the connector on the board and it works fine for the trips duration.

Yes, Sometimes it would light, then die. Or just not light at all. Just clicked away into safty mode. Wiggle the connection and its runs perfect for days. Untill it sits again with no use for awhile.

video, it actually lit on the 3rd cycle this time, and it works great once it lights, but it wouldnt light off after this again.

Flame sensor or gas valve solenoid.  Send 12v to the gas valve solenoid with everything hooked up and see if gas comes out.  You may or may not hear it open and close.  Probably not.  Try it a few times.  If it consistently opens and you have gas coming out then change your flame sensor.  THey are cheap.  Its the probe that doesnt spark.  Let me know.
Also be sure to disconnect the spark probe before testing the valve.  No need to get burnt.

Forgot to update this thread, when I put 12v to the solenoids they open and it lights off instantly, the board isnt consistant on opening the solenoids and only puts out 7v

SO, I have a voltage stepper to try to up the voltage out of the board, if that doesnt help, Ill buy a dinosaur board for it.

FIXED, just had to step the voltage up a few to make the solenoids open, works flawlessly now. $15 part and some brains.
