Cams are illegal during hunting season should be okay this time of year.

Not trying to be "internet police" or anything so don't take it that way but I thought I remember reading that if any hunting season is open then trail cameras were illegal to use. I believe bear is open so I think it would still be illegal but don't quote me. The only reason I bring it up was because I was going to hang a few cameras just a little over the border but was told not too by a few buddies that live there.

Sorry to thread jack BTW!

by the way, I started a new thread if anyone wanted to discuss the trail camera issue. Didn't want to take away from the adventure LittleJohn had. I keep looking at the pictures and it makes me smile and brings back some fond memories.

Never heard of anything like that in Washington.  :dunno:

What an amazing trip though, can only hope to do something like that some day!

Where did you get that info? Nothing about that in the regs.

Looks like a fantastic trip and beautiful country.  Would love to see some of that country from horseback someday.
