Snow Geese Arrival?
« on: October 17, 2008, 07:20:48 PM »
Have the Snow Geese arrived yet? I live on Whidbey, but am just out of site of the rafts. Are there enough numbers to start hunting yet? Gas is a bit pricey to drive over and see what has arrived.

There are a lot down already.  They are not really looking a decoys yet, but will soon and then start to ball up.  Got a few last week being lucky at the right spot.  Not so smart ones flying around at 30feet.  I'm sure the skybusters will educate them soon enough.  Worth it becuase you have a chance at fresh birds.  Have not seen too many young ones yet.  Just what I have seen.
