Ocean Shores Area
« on: October 13, 2008, 11:29:08 AM »
Has anyone hunted in the Aberdeen-Ocean Shores area?  I'm trying to find the access roads for the public land out there.

I'm trying to search the regs, but it's confusing me a little.  I don't want to end up on Res property.  I assume it's any buck out there as well.

Get a third floor room at The Polynesian or one of those simlar resorts.  With that vantage point, you should be able to pop one of them deer hopping around in the brush by the beach  :chuckle:

my family and I go over there every year for a week and we usually see at least 3 or 4 bucks that I would love to shoot. The only problem is they are usually in someones yard. Hard to hunt an area that is full of Subaru driving, fleece wearing, granola eating people.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
