South sound lakes
« on: June 09, 2013, 04:30:21 PM »
I will probably be in the Spanaway area this weekend with my 10' boat. Was hoping to get out on a lake with dad and nephew and was hoping for tips on best place (feel free to PM).

We were thinking maybe Mineral, just not sure if worth the drive. I lived in the area about 15 years ago and we would hit up Kapowasin with some success, but was curious if anyone has any suggestions.

I'm still working on a motor (hope to grab an electric trolling before then and have a 2hp gas, but it's a bit iffy), so probably not looking for something requiring extensive distances on the water.

Looking for trout.
