My buddy and I want to hunt both muzzle loader season and modern season and both harvest a deer in both if we have the chance is it possible to buy a tag in both seasons for deer?

One deer a year per person. Must choose between bow muzzy or rifle.

If you draw a multi season tag you can hunt both seasons, but still only harvest one deer. Can always try to get a second doe tag if you want to try and get two deer.

It's a special permit so you have to apply in may.
Slinging arrows and flinging lead is in my blood!

You also have the raffle, which the deadline has not been missed.  They haven't even gone on sale yet.  You can get up to 3 deer for certain raffles.  Raffle is different than special permits.

You can apply next year for a multi season tag and apply for a 2nd deer tag to. Then you can hunt all seasons with your multi tag and pick a weapon for your 2nd tag. That's what I would do.

yep  you  should have a good look at the price before you  make the final decision and is your buddy up for the same thing is something you might want to also consider
