I don't have anything more than the camera on my phone but it's wrong that there is a thread about flowers and nobody has put any Rock Roses (bitterroot) yet since they just came in season a week ago and all.

Still just a camera phone, tested out the macro settings for the first time. I had to stop my run to try an get a picture of this one, it's as near perfect as I've ever seen.

Happy Mothers Day

Looks Nice Darrell

HawkCreek Nice shot

Not sure this is the same flower or not. But they must be pretty tough for the condition they live in.
This other one is from the coast. Just seemed a little weird for only one flower to be blooming on the whole beach by it's self.

Thanks, I don't believe they are the same as these like the dry but they definitely could be the same family (I don't know anything about plants, pretty sad for a guy that grew up in the middle of wheat country haha). I've seen pictures of those beach flowers but I've never gotten to see one when I was over visiting the beach, maybe someday but thanks for sharing your picture in the mean time.
