Long range optic set-ups

I know many here on HW are serious as I am to the long range shooting gig. Just curious as to what others here shoot on top of their long range guns for optics, rings and bases? how do you rig your 1000 yard and farther guns?? I run Vortex Razors and PST's, Nightforce scopes, Warne or Nightforce for the bases, all at 20 moa, and Vortex or Nightforce rings. Even post some photos of your favorite rigs!

NF and Schmidt & Benders on the fleet.  Vectronix for rangefinders.  40 MOA Rails on the Edges, 20 MOA on all the rest.  NF and Seekins rings.

How do you like Vortex? Do they offer custom turrets. Would love a NF for my new long range gun but not sure if I can justify the $ to the loan officer ( wife). Was thinking of the Vortex pst, a Leopold VX3LR or possibly a Leopold built buy Greybull Precission. Right now mines just sporting a Burris I pulled off another rifle to get trigger time. Also what do you gain by going to 20 moa bases over standard.

I'm poor so I just run a Leupold Mark 4 with Mark 4 rings and a 20moa base

Yep, always a good idea to get the blessing first!
Yes, love the Vortex line. The PST can be had with custom turrets, and several reticle options! Sturdy scope with amazing warranty and service. By going 20 moa (or 40 moa as Rbros), you are in effect tilting the scope so as too be able to use more of your scopes adjustment with, say, a 100 yard zero. if your scope has, say, 100 minutes of adjusment top to bottom, but your adjustment for a 100 yard zero puts the adjustment dead center..that woul only leave you with 50 minutes of adjustment, not enough for longer shooting. Hope this explains it as simply as I could?

NF scopes on all guns that will shoot that far and the ones that I've had awhile have NF rings and rails but anything that has been built in the last few years has Near Mfg. rings.  Certainly nothing wrong with NF rings and rails but Near Mfg. is the BEST I've ever used and Richard Near is excellent to work with.
