Barbless trebles

I might be totally wrong but in selective gear areas you have to use single point hooks anyways?

Gami big river bait hooks is where it's at. Open eye for plugs and the standard ones for fishing bait. Barbless trebles are worthless. 

Only way to go for single hooks.  Barbless or not singles are the way to go.  You will land a higher percentage of the fish you hook.

Trebles of any kind are for bass plugs and trout spinners imo.  Salmon and steelhead, singles are the only way to go even on plugs.
