Where is the best food in e-burg?
« on: June 14, 2013, 08:08:35 AM »
Some of my buddies and I are meeting in ellensburg tonight for dinner.  we ususally just meet at the Ranchhouse off I-90.   Any other places that have great food?  We are not picky regarding type of food.

Yup, the Flyin' J has decent food.  Killer taco omelet in there!

Years ago we went sledding up the Colckum and were suggested by a local that we try this place out......wasn't bad , I t was saturday night and lets just say the scenery was good as they had live music and close proximity to Central....

I say the Palace, the Tav or the Road House

Probably the Palace, but there are really no restaurants in eburg that are outstanding.

Palace has the best Prime Rib, hands down.

Tav for great burgers, and atmosphere

Bleachers for burgers

Pasta co. for pasta

Spurs has an excellent steak as well.

Ihop over by Loves Truck Stop if you want breakfast type food.

Can't believe the chicken fried steak at the Buzz Inn at the Flyin J didn't make the short list.

 :yike:

Maybe that just tastes really good after a few days of mountain house meals.

I'd second all of these...if you're not worried about having a heart attack, try the mac and cheese with bacon at Bleachers, it's awesome.  Unfortunately, everytime you eat it you take a year off the end of your life.

The Dakota Cafe also has good food.
